The Experience Arc
A simple system for seeing your life differently.
A starting point for anyone discovering the deck for the first time.
If you’re reading this, you’re probably already holding the cards. Which means something in you is looking for more than productivity, more than optimisation, more than simply getting through the day.
These cards aren’t here to give you answers. They’re here to help you see.
Most people live in loops. The Experience Arc helps interrupt them.
The Experience Arc is built around a simple movement: Presence → Discovery → Reflection.
Each card is a small interruption. A shift in perspective. A prompt to notice something you would normally move past. Not as a theory, but as something you experience in your actual day.
Over time, these small moments compound. Life starts to feel different. Not because everything changed. But because you did.
You are always moving through an arc, whether you realise it or not.
Part screenwriting. Part personal practice. Part business tool.
I first became interested in arcs through screenwriting. Every great story moves. A character starts somewhere, something is revealed, and by the end they are changed.
What stayed with me was not just the storytelling, but the structure beneath it. Because the same thing applies to life. You are not static. You are always in motion, whether consciously or unconsciously.
These cards help make that movement visible.
This system has also been shaped through years of experience design work.
Before this became a card deck, it was a way of thinking I used in business, helping brands move beyond transactions and create experiences people could actually feel, remember, and connect with.
The principle is the same in personal life. People rarely change through information alone. They change through moments. A shift in attention. A new discovery. A pause that leads to reflection.
That is what these cards are designed to create: small moments that open something up.
Use them lightly. Let them work slowly.
Draw one card in the morning.
Let it stay with you during the day.
Notice what it helps you discover.
Return to it later and reflect.
There is nothing to complete. The point is simply to step out of autopilot, even briefly.
Not a dramatic transformation. A more conscious one.
More clarity in your thinking
More presence in your day
Less need to rush
A stronger sense of direction
Not because you added more. Because you started seeing differently.
The cards can stand alone. But there are a few gentle next steps.
A deeper space for people ready to redesign direction, not just habits.
Future Self Lab expands on the same philosophy behind the cards: that change happens through awareness, better questions, and meaningful shifts in how you see yourself and your life.
It is there for the moment you want to move from occasional reflection into a more deliberate personal arc.

View the Experience Arc CardsThis is not about becoming someone else. It is about noticing what is already there, and choosing more consciously where it leads.
